History:
Norwegians had taken claims on Union creek southeast of Stanton, in 1867. From 1868-69 settlement increased rapidly. Fred Schneider, John Wunner, Jack de Bord, A. N. Gill, J. G. Matheson and C. L. Lamb located on the Humbug. In 1869 a colony from Indiana settled on the westernmost tributary of the Elkhorn river on the north side. The settlement was called Pleasant Run, later Gassey Hollow, and today is referred to as Hoosier Hollow.

The cemetery contains approximately fifty grave sites.

Weather Outside: Clear

PRISM investigator Anney H., along with a couple of her close friends, conducted an informal investigation of the Hoosier Hollow Pioneer Cemetery on Halloween night. Several photographs were taken and a few anomalous EMF spikes were noted, one which coincided with a photograph of an orb in motion.
