This is a short video explaining some of the audio evidence that was recorded during at the Old Pottawattamie Squirrel Cage Jail in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 1, 2005. Both of the EVP showcased in this video were also captured on video. The video can be found on the investigation page.

This audio was recorded on January 29, 2005 during the investigation of a Des Moines, Iowa residence. In this recording, PRISM investigator Dan C. asks, "What is your name?" and then he is answered by the spirit voice of a man saying a name which sounds like "Blanche."

UPDATE 4/29/05: E-mail from Doug H. (Owner of the home):
Today we received our abstract on the property, and wouldn't you know it!  There was a Blanche!! What was interesting was that Blanche was an owner of the larger land before it was subdivided in the 50's, before there was a house even on this area. But there was a corn crib here then that had to be torn down, so maybe she had a thing for the corn crib.

This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Dan Christianson on 1/29/05 in office #1 of the residence, on a cassette recorder. In two of the clips, the EVP was then "cleaned up" with noise reduction and in the last clip, the audio was slowed down by 20% using Adobe Audition.

This audio was recorded on January 29, 2005 during the investigation of a Des Moines, Iowa residence. In the recording, PRISM investigator Dan Christianson asks, "Are you happy here?" and then he is answered with a response from a growling spirit male voice which says something like "We will stay!" or "We won't go!" in a deep moaning voice. A second spirit voice can be heard as well, speaking over the first lower voice. This spirit screams out something that sounds like "Get them off me!"

Note: To hear these two separate voices, focus on one voice at a time. One is a low growling man's voice and the other sounds more like a normal man's voice which seems to overpower the lower voice.

This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Dan Christianson on 1/29/05 in office #1 of the residence, on a cassette recorder. In two of the clips, the EVP was then "cleaned up" with noise reduction and looped 3 times using Adobe Audition.

This EVP was recorded at a private residence in Papillion, NE. In this recording, a very prominent male spirit voice can be heard saying, "Ellen". One of the occupants of the house, Melanie, believes that the voice is that of her deceased uncle Jim (who died two months prior to our investigation) saying her name. According to her, the way the way that he used to pronounced her name sounded more like "Melan" than "Melanie." The family confirmed that this was his voice.

This EVP was recorded by PRISM investigator Dan Christianson in the guest bedroom of the Papillion residence on a digital audio recorder on February 22, 2005. After the original EVP is heard, the EVP was slowed down by 40%, noise reduction was added, and it was looped x3 using Adobe Audition software.
